Hey I was just looking at the bunige info and you guys are pertty much accret on the CMT spiker. If your doing any more wokring on the model go here.

for a 3d view of it. Might I suggest the lights on it for CMT. Other than that I love the CMT spiker.

More vitally, the spikes don’t deform on impact if shot at close surfaces at an angle. Shoot head on, and they crumple, but angle that shot and you can deflect, with predictable accuracy, deadly, shredding rounds that basically lose none of their efficacy.
Something to see in the CMT spiker mb?

Looks like we have a few tweeks to make to our spiker. The bounce off wlls thing is definatly do-able.

It's not a video. It's just a 360° look at the spiker, Bungie has shown other images this way. All you need is Quicktime.

AHA! SEE I TOLD YOU THAT IT SHOULD BOUNCE OFF WALLS!!!! Btw it's also gotta be 40 round per clip.

help?They are just advertising Quicktime Pro.

I use QTPro for rendered videos for use in compositing since its about the only program that merges images together, accepts Targas, and keeps alpha channels.

I would assume that the bouncing off walls thing is for SP only? (Masterz said it doesn't work over the netcode right...)

Also remember the fact about short bursts being pretty accurate and holding down the fire button spreads alot (more than SMG, but I think your current Spiker spread is good enough).
At the moment, the spread is the same no matter how you press the fire button.

Not mcuh to show about it. I can say it;s pretty usefull. And pretty deadly. I've had rooms be a crossfire of needles when me and a brute engage in combat in narrow places.

So, you remodeled your spikker to look a tad bit more like that 3D image we got to mess around with? and are you making to where it's JUST like the needler?; can bounce off of things.

The spiker looks fine the way it is now, the ROF should probably be a tiny bit higher though, the clip smaller and the shots more powerful.

It looks to me like the current CMT spiker needs to make the blades just like 3% more outward so insted of being like this

I liked it... :(
The only thing that I didn't like about CMT's Spiker was the fact that a little 2" x 1" cigarette box fitted into the top of the gun was the source of sixty 6" spikes, when the magazine was apparently the large drum clipped right underneath it.
Edit: Did the Spiker have TP firing animations like the Halo 2 Carbine or Brute Shot (the barrel blowback)? Because that dual-barrel mechanism looks like it's supposed to reciprocate with every round volleyed.

H1 uses block hands, so thers not much we can do about the "emo" ness of it.

I don't mind the blood all that much, but like Dole said, the magazine looks too small to fit all the projectiles in it, you should probably work on that.

Yeah, it's very tiny...like Dole's Di--:X jp, jp.
But, yeah. The spiker isn't that small >.<!!! so it should be wider, the melee should be like a slash....but enough about imperfections...that cigar holder is pretty awkward lookin'

Yeah, if you do that...would it be possible to make it fit? that's if we even want it. personally, I don't mind where his hand is located on the gun, as long as it's revised and resembles the spiker model a little more.......btw, will you be adding those 2 blue gun barrel holes? they look pretty cool...

how are those dual barrels supposed to work anyway? does it alternate between barrels?
but i agree, the clip is tiny and the gun itself a little small, but i think i can live with both, just concentrate on future projects. switch the clip size and the bouncing needle thing and be done with it.
once we know for sure how big the clip is you can change it.

Instead of wasting your time with that, you could have him rest his hand on top of the gun. The Spiker third person animations are just shameful though and you can't deny it, it desperately needs a third person melee to match the first person one...

That melee would suffice.
