Tomarrow I intend to turn in my Xbox, 3 xbox controllers, my gamecube, 2 gamecube controllers, and about 10 Gamecube games. For what you might ask?
I have been coerced into buying a Nintendo DS Lite. But this is no ordinary lite. This one has a Transformers Skin featuring Bumblebee.

Only difference is that the one I'm getting is black instead of white, so I think it matches the skin perfectly.
Thoughts? Comments?

Just get a regular DS Lite. I bet the skin will get old pretty quickly.

Its actually one of those "rubber" skins so its actually pretty durable. Its at the same gamestop I work out and I've been scoping it out for the past few days.

Yeah, better idea. Wait for DSi. Even if you import it, it shouldn't be that hard to make your way around the UI. Plus, the DS is region free.
Oh and by old, I meant boring. :-3

So you're gonna trade in all that good stuff for a DS with a rubber top that has a picture of Bumblebee. :fail:
You could sell the other stuff for more money than that DS is probably worth.

I seriously doubt a logo is worth that much, but hey its your money.

Its not just the logo. Do you honestly think I'd be that stupid. My god its a fricking DS. Besides the DSi is going to be expensive as crap, importing it or just waiting for it to hit the American Marketplace.

Actually 20% gets taken off of what gamestop will buy it for. Say all that stuff is worth $80. Gamestop has to take off 20% of that for taxes, which then wouldn't be all that much.

NO way in hell should you get the DSi. Terrible. First no Slot 2 (GBA port). 2nd R4 is confirmed not to work on it.
The R4 is pretty much a necessity for the DS. Just get a Lite.

In all honesty, the DS isn't all that great. Nintendo has been targeting the "little girl" demographic lately what with all of the licensed Disney shit (High School MuSUCKal and HURRnah Montana), pet sims, and shit. The only games that have piqued my interest in the slightest lately are Final Fantasy 4 and Final Fantasy Tactics A-2.
The games worth getting imho are The New Super Mario Brothers, Yoshi's Island DS, Pokemon Diamond/Pearl, Mario Kart DS, Elite Beat Agents, Trauma Center, FF3, FF4, FFTA-2, and maybe Metroid Prime Hunters if you want to play it offline only (loaded with cheaters online).
Maybe if you're a puzzles type, Brain Age, Flash Focus, Puzzle Quest, the Ace Attorney series (Phoenix Wright/Apollo Justice), and a number of others will get you thinking.
I'm not too familiar with the PSP, but at least it can double as a portable media player; something the DS can't do.
