Modelled by Doom/Sneeze. Doesn't have a multi yet, the textured in lights, obviously ingame will have light effects, and I'm making the normal map now.

i hope to god not.

use them sparingly otherwise one nade would blow the map sky high!
(actually, that doesn't sound so bad..)

yeah, I've done normal map, but I can't render it right, cuz Maya doesn't like my gfx card :/ (pcs having prblems lately) but it's working perfectly, just the render quality sucks so I'll get someone else to render it.

-_- it doesn't have a bump map on it there, if you bothered to read. The lights, yes are cel shaded looking, but thats because theres no other way to texture them on a flat map. the normal Map will make them stick out, and lighting flare effects will be applied to the lights, and it'll look very convincing.

the fusion core looks better than the ones in H2CE, their explosion was weird. =p

I'll get right onto making those

Ah yes, the Forerunner Fusion Cores, I already figured they were under works so I didn't bother mentioning them.

I also remember Bungie referring to fusion cores on Snow Bound... Considering that's a Covenant themed map, possibly we'll be seeing three renditions of the Fusion Core in Halo 3. I'll go check the ViDOC to see if they slipped something in there.

actually, id like to call them, "H3 Lockout Fusion Cores"

Dole
April 21st, 2007, 11:28 AM
Lockout is a Forerunner map.

Hurrvish
April 21st, 2007, 11:35 AM
those tall fusion cores are almost the same as the lockout ones. it just needs a new skin

Limited
April 21st, 2007, 11:36 AM
Do we even know they are fusion cores and not just like structures or computers?

I noticed that too....but do you guys have to copy EVERYTHING new that you find in H3??

Masterz1337
April 21st, 2007, 01:01 PM
LoL, those "forerunner fusion cores" are the same as in h2. And no, but stuff like the M6D we will be bringing back, regardless if it is h3.

teh lag
April 21st, 2007, 01:04 PM
No. We don't have spike nades, bubble sheilds, our SL functions pretty differently compared to h3's, our BR is missing the scope from h3... The list goes on. Recreating some things is not the same as recreating everything we see.

Edit : curse you masterz D:

What will you do if you can only create maps for H2V, not content?

Hotrod
April 21st, 2007, 04:14 PM
I'm talking to Stalker 4589. Sorry if I wasn't specific about that in my other post.

so human fusion cores, h2 covenant gas tanks (H2 Campaign; if you plan to put these into CE/H2V custom content maps) , and forerunner fusion cores. Three different types of explosive scenery, all off their explosions are different though.

Amit
April 22nd, 2007, 10:03 AM
They explode nonetheless.

Pred1ator
April 22nd, 2007, 11:48 AM
i like to see them explode, gives us betetr advantage on killing a spartan

jedimas4
May 5th, 2007, 09:47 PM
yeah, but dont overflow on them, theyll detract from the game

Boba

k sry dog :smith:

Are you going to make any more scenery besides this? Like the fold up table and crates seen in the Last Resort leak?
