This was an auction on ebay (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290365171668) (which is over now).

All seemed to be going well at the beginning...then someone came in and fucking threw down over 2K...I can't justify spending that much on just spending a day at the 360 dev house (I'm sure it's really just the MGS studios, not the actual 360 makers)

Yeah, 2k was too rich for my blood. However, if it is something you really want to do (game development), this one experience could very well be the door stop for your entry. Assuming some 12 year old timmy didn't have his piss broke dad take out a 2700$ loan (plus air fare and hotel $$$) to win this. And timmy has no direction in life, just wanks and plays video games all day. In which case yes, they would be a loser.

I would bring a cart carrying a power generator and as many space heaters as I can put on the cart, then just take it wherever we go.
