This is the computer
http://configure.us.dell.com/dellstore/config.aspx?c=us&cs=19&l=en&oc=DDCWRA1&s=dhs
Its starting price is $249 and/or $15 a month.
If you want you can build it the way I have below to see what its got and whatnot or whatever...
Here is how I want the system:
Black colored (not going to pay $20 just for a case color)
Intel® Pentium® dual-core E5400 (2MB L2, 2.7GHz, 800FSB)
Genuine Windows® 7 Home Premium, 64bit, English
Microsoft® Works 9 (already have 2007)
1Yr Ltd Hardware Warranty, InHome Service after Remote Diagnosis- Important Information
McAfee SecurityCenter, 30-Day Trial
No Monitor (already have a TV/HDTV/PC 19 inch widescreen monitor)
2GB Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 800MHz- 2 DIMMs (current computer is 1GB and I don't need that much RAM)
320GB Serial ATA Hard Drive (7200RPM) w/DataBurst Cache™ (If I could, I could go lower... What would I do with 320GB? no, not porn)
16X DVD+/-RW Drive
ATI Radeon HD 4670 1GB (not with the computer but I might be getting it from newegg for $74)
No Speaker Option (got one)
Dell Consumer Entry USB Keyboard and Mouse (sure, why not? It's free :D)
No Floppy Drive or Media Card Reader Included (nah)
No wireless card (got a NETGEAR WG311v3 it's fine)
No Modem Option (ew, dial-up)
No 1394a High Speed AV Port (idk what that is)
From there out, I don't want movies or routers or on-call plans or whatever. Comes out to be $319 still for $15/month. Then $319 + $74 ($393 if you suck at math) for the graphics I might buy.
That computer build is 50% better than mine right now. My current crappy computer I'm using is a Dimension 3100. Right now my computer has a total of 74GB (26.6GB used), 1GB RAM, No CD write/rip, No DVD read/write/rip, Intergraded graphics (nVidia 6200 just got fried), Windows 7 RC (still? I know...), only 6 USB ports (need more).
I might get this in maybe a couple months, or maybe not... I'll see how this goes...
