I almost got mugged

Today I went to get my drivers certificate at a place were theres usually a high crime rate. So after the class was over, I had to walk at least half a mile to get to the bus stop so that I could get home. On my way there, some guy came up to me and told me "Say lil' dude, let me have a dolla". I told him calmly, "I don't have a dollar" and he told me "Then what are you doing out hur in south Dallas cause' it be bad business". Still being calm "I just got my drivers certificate and now I have to get to the Martin Luther King center since I have things to do there" But they guy still was hesitant enough to say this "So if you got a drivers certificate that means you can drive,and if you can drive you got a car, and if you got a car that means you have some monay on you right now. Man I kno you got sumthin' on yo wallet right now". I got annoyed and just said "But don't I drive yet, so that means I don't have a car, and I think that means I have no money on me." I just walked away from that guy as fast as I could. Fuck, next time I go down there for whatever reason I'll bring a gun with me.:nsmug:

South Dallas is good stuff. If I ever get caught down there at night, I will run the red light. I guess you were at one of the DART bus stops. Be weary of the train stations too, a lot of beggers out there too.

You are usually looking at the business district and towards the skyline which is very beautiful. The actaul streets of Dallas though are horrible. Fort Worth in general is a richer city that has alot more stuff to do. The water gardens in FW are fun to take a date to, they even have a water light show at night.

People wave to you when you pass them on the road. No other place does that that I have been to.

You can wave to people in Utah and they'll wave back. It's pretty funny waving at all the blokes who pass you or you pass. Same Deal in Florida too, always liked waving to people or smiling to see what they'd do.

Also, don't tell people your current lifestory when you meet them. Just plain tact.
