After fifty days of releasing vast caches of confidential data, from police units through to government departments, LulzSec announced on its Twitter feed this evening that it is to disband.

But it seems that LulzSec wasn’t in it for the ‘lulz’ after all.

If you'd paid any attention at all to Lulz, you would know the merged back into Anonymous and are still at it, just not under the name LulzSec.

Sorry, but I don't spend my life tracking the movements of those people so I was not aware. I saw the article and posted it.
