Alright, if you still have a chance, go out and try and get a hold on the HP tablet 16 gig or 32 gigs! (read title for pricing).

BestBuy had 250k units as no one was buying them, and told HP to do something about it. So HP told everyone (all stores) to drop the price to $99 for the 16 gig and $149 for the 32 gig. Very nice tablets!

This is my bundle, stayed the night to get them. :)

All 32 gigs. Total? I dunno, didn't add them all up yet. haha.

Oh btw, its one per customer..

Oh oh, edit: I got all accessories clearance price (some less then half.)
And the seagates costed 50 bucks as I was first in line. :)

HP? Well, good luck, hope they don't break on you.

(seriously HP could not pay me to use their products anymore)

When I was at Best Buy these things never even got a passing interest from anyone. iPad is really the only way to go right now, or get a Windows Tablet.

HP just discontinued their WebOS line (these included) as well, so you just bought a bunch of a useless product TBH. Not to mention that it's HP, they break everything ALL THE TIME... One of our demo units (32GB) died the day we put it on display.

I disagree.
They are not discontinuing the OS itself, only the products that use it. This has been stated by HP themselves, as they still have hope for the OS.
As far as I am concerned, I am going to be uninstalling it anyways, and installing Linux or Android as soon as it becomes available as third parties are already working on it.

I have used HP before and have not had a bad experience. Again, I take care a lot of care of my things.

Last but not least, I will never buy an over priced Apple piece of shit device again. (And its not that I haven't used any or can't afford them.....)

You bought so many units you don't know the price, you are not going to sell them but instead uninstall the operating system and install a non-released OS on it?

:S

I do not live alone in this house of mine. :)
Also, originally the plan was for me to go around, buy as many as I can and sell the extras. Ended up getting the exact number I needed.

Now, some people want to move over to the Galaxy Tab 10.1. So I may end up selling a few. :)

Looks like 5 are already going on ebay with accessories. :)

Nero

Yea... I have to agree. Not many apps at all (that I use or want.). Can't wait to move it over to another OS. :)

Anyways, I just thought I'd let you gents know.
Its a great deal for what you are buying.

Ahh shit, I was hoping they were the 16GB ones. I can't spend $200+ bucks and expect to have enough left over for a BF3 build :(

Nero

Yea man, ik what you mean. I couldn't find any 16 gigs, or I would have sold to you directly without eBay, but if I get a hold of any, you will be the first to know. :)

ME AND JCAP WERE BROWSING A WEBSITE ALL DAY TRYING TO FIND A DEAL ON ONE. I GOT MY DEAL CANCELED AFTER I PURCHASED IT BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T HAVE ENOUGH IN STOCK. SOME PEOPLE GOT MULTIPLES, I GOT NONE.

That's why he's mad.

Amit

That's why you don't ever buy from Amazon.

Edit: ^ Point stands.

Guess you don't buy electronics from Barnes & Noble either.

Oh man that's horrible.
I guess staying up all night pays off.
Sorry to hear you guys didn't get it though. On the bright side, I never bought online, so I didn't decrease your chances. :)

More TouchPads on the Way

I finally have some solid news to share about TouchPad availability.

Before I share, let me first say thank you for enthusiasm for this product. Since we announced the price drop, the number of inquiries about the product and the speed at which it disappeared from inventory has been stunning. I think it’s safe to say we were pleasantly surprised by the response.

Despite announcing an end to manufacturing webOS hardware, we have decided to produce one last run of TouchPads to meet unfulfilled demand. We don’t know exactly when these units will be available or how many we’ll get, and we can’t promise we’ll have enough for everyone. We do know that it will be at least a few weeks before you can purchase. See more information in the updated FAQs below.

Bryna (@BrynaatHP (http://www.twitter.com/brynaathp)) and I (@MarkatHP (http://www.twitter.com/markathp)) will update you here and on Twitter on the status of the new batch of systems. Please continue to share your thoughts and questions with us. Although we can’t respond to every one directly, we are sharing your feedback with teams inside HP.

Please note that many of the questions below address concern about orders previously placed on our HP Home & Home Office (http://www.hpdirect.com/) and HP Small & Medium Business (http://h71016.www7.hp.com/home.asp?oi=E9CED&BEID=19701&SBLID=) online stores. It’s important to note that these are separate stores with slightly different procedures. We also know that we’re sparse on information about availability outside the US. We will share updates on regional availability as the information comes in.

Yea, I read that. But it's most likely only going to be online and last time almost everything was sold out in 3 hours from announcement. Also, they aren't 100 percent sure. But I wish you both luck!!

They are going to be limiting orders next time time to prevent people like you from hoarding them to yourself and scalping people who actually want one.

Hey, no need to be mad at me. I stayed in line all night and I made all my sibs come with me to say they want one too. So no, I didn't hoard. If anything, its your fault for being late online. As far as me hoarding in the store, the people who decided to come to the store 5 min before it opened, lost.
Btw, the online stores went out of inventory in a number of hours, so I don't even get why you are pissed. Thousands of people went online to get into the deal because they didn't want to drop by there local store and stay in line all night. (Oh and this was all in the same night it was announced from HP.)

P.S. I never meant to sell these, but now I am because I am upgrading to Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1.... Again, GOOD LUCK to you man. Hope you get into the next batch! :)
