Masters promised that if all bugs were posted in this forum, he would strive to correct them. Other suggestions are things that would make your mod better, by fixing consistencies. Here is my proof.

All maps: you can fire one or two extra shots with the shotgun when the "clip" is empty, causing bullet holes to appear in whatever surface you're shooting at, but the sound of an empty "clip."

I agree that the SMG could be alot better looking, and at one stage was going to redo it but, yeah been distracted by lots of other stuff. I spose, I could still possibly do it, I mean lately i've been getting pretty fast, having done the Brute shot in 2 days and the spiker in. well 2 had I had another reference but its now up to 3. I can try, but dam it'd be pushing the time we've got left on it.

Honestly why does this matter at all? I'm not trying to start anything but its just a group of people making maps, they could not make any maps or anything at all, but then the halo ce modding community wouldn't be the same.
Quit try to anal rape masterz and let CMT do what they want for christ sake, its there mods.

Teh_Lag is responsible for like half of CMT's output, while WOL has a vendetta against Masters. You have not seen this yet?

I say move the deadline to June 25th, in honor of all those who were joking that the original campaign's patch that was due for the next week would not come for another year.

Wtf do you guys expect?? CMT is not a professional development team under some huge contract... There not getting paid to do this. Ive been watching CMT from their very beginning and have seen huge improvements in their mod. Especially in the last 6 months or so. Despite minor bugs here and there I and many others still have lots of fun playing the mod. And I think thats what really matters.

I have spent the past 2 hours or so checking some of the bugs. and have drawn a few conclusions.
1. i must disagree totally with jcap and his oppinions,
2. i couldnt get that shotgun bug of edward elrich's to happen anywhere.
3. the spartan laser doesnt make holes it lights things on fire, and on snowgrove, the ground glows red for a while instead
4. i recognize that WOL is a higher up in the community and i am a mere peon, but with all due respect dude you are making a total ass of yourself with this thing you have against masters.
EDIT: its kinda funny, but there have only been 2 actual bugs posted so far

Yeah, i agree with Dr Jaul. Although WOL apparently has a bone to pick with Masters, i think this is getting a little too far. I understand that WOL has a right to state his opinion, but come on, its just a game (cliche much?). Well, anyway. Im in school right now, and when i get home tonight i plan on testing the fuck out of the maps, atleast 1 hour a piece (because i have that kind of time, lol), both in and out of game. Ill post my review tomorrow, and then we'll see who's right.

The grenades are shit.
They look very nice, but the blast radius is small and the grenade is FAR too weak for something making that much of a blast.
The BRG grenade also needs a radius boost.
I don't use plasmas very often, but since they're aimed to be stuck to people, I guess they're ok.
MA5K needs a better skin or model.
The blob grip, the plain gray...
Perhaps you could put a display, or something, on it? It's an awesome weapon, but it is ugly.
Brutes need better arms. They look lumpy, like fat lumpy, and the straps are cartoonish. Perhaps less black bordering?
And the head on the brute looks like a downs syndrome lizard. :/
And I know these are comments, but I can only see them improving the mod. <_<

That skin for the MA5K is kinda bland(Bullshit), if you don't spice it up I'll be killing people with a grey tool instead of a slick machine.

What the fuck is wrong with the graphics?!?!? Are you going to be fighting in an intense battle and stop and look at a gun and say," OMG! That has so many errors in so many ways? I think I'm going to bitch about it!!! Blah, blah, blah." If you have a problem about graphics and small glitches, then you make a couple dozen or so maps to please at least a couple thousand people. They have put so much time and effort in to those maps just to please a few people who want to play a fun game with cool stuff in it, but no you just shove shit in their faces where they deserve graditude. -Starting weps: The MA5C alone is better than starting with 2 secondary weapons, SMG and pistol.
-I guess BSP holes can be a bit of a prick when youre about to finish someone off.
-The grenade launcher on the battle rifle and the BR strength annoy me too. I see no point in a G-Launcher when you can just throw the grenades.
-There is even a bug on the forum called WOL, masterz u should fix that.
The nade launcher and starting weps arent bugs, but I just dislike it.
-The pistol is not a 'secondary' weapon in this game. Think about what you're saying. Besides, I like spawning with the SMG, especially in Tensity.
-For me, I really find it hard to actually FIND a BSP hole, let alone fall through one when killing someone.
-What if you're out of grenades? :downs: Besides, BR grenades fly further and faster.
-WOL can have his opinion.

No sounds, shitty fire anims. There is a new set that has replaced the ones that were in the released maps, believe it's the 8th set we've made.

Oh, I know! Maybe the fact thst the human weapons totoally RAPE the covenant weapons. There is no sniper-equivalent weapon for the covenant side in the mod. Their isn't any mid-range weapon to rival the BR with. No heavy weapon to use against the RL or the SL (notice how the humans has 2 heavy weapons while covenant doesn't have shit in the mod). Basically the only covvie weapons are the spiker, needler, plasma pistol, plasma grenade and plasma rifle. And notice how most of the covvie weapons share the purpose of the SMG.
And I rarely see any covvie weapons (except the spiker) used at all.

You clearly don't understand what he means by ballance. By the way you posted, h1 is unballanced as well. The weapons are ballanced, they are all effective, and are not clone weapons of eachother (except the spiker and the smg, although, that is being changed) I find myself able to take on anyone, despite what they are carying. Each weapon can be countered by another one. Ballance has nothing to do with what the humans and covies have. The beam rifle is the exact same thing as the human sniper, it just looks different and has a battery rather than ammo. they both fill the same roll without a difference.

That is when you use the AR or a pistol. It doesn't have to have a covenant counterpart. IMO, that kind of shit is a waste of space. The bugs I usually find are things that can't be fixed, or would be an extreme hassle to be fixed.

To me the BR just seems to be a little underpowered. I can seem to get 4sk with it. I can get multiple 3sks with the pistol. It just seems that the BR has no use except for its GL and that is about it.

For people worrying about balance, did H1 regularly have much balance the way that you put it? No. Did anyone regularly use covie weapons in h1 over human? No.

Sounds could be added, the melee was nigh-perfectly animated, and it jerked less than the current set.

I think there are mainly two reasons that people may dislike the BR
First off, people seem to think it's weaker than the amount of damage it actually does. I think this may actually have something to do with the sound of the gun. The pistol is a strong sounding weapon, and I sometimes think that the BR has a very soft/muffled sound. Another thing is the BR nades. They're difficult to use, but effective against vehicles and at close range. I think the combination of the BR's two features make it a good assault weapon, for flag runs.

Here are a lot of visual problems. I havent even gone into a game to check out gameplay, though.
it was the discussion, "process of elimination"
tensity:
the water is UVED too small, which means you cant see the waves
the flamethrower has no ground point
the water runs right into the mountains in the skybox, and there is an ugly white line between them
there is no background for the health or shield indicator
the health beep is TOO FREAKIN LOUD
the brute spiker, there are floating explosions around the gun when you fire
the ammo gradient is messed up
the frag grenade explosion is messed--little lines float out at a slow pace
all of the hud bitmaps need to be re-compiled with mipmaps: 1
the plasma pistol overcharge has the regular plasma bolt light volume, and none of the effects
the charging/battery meter are both screwed up
the exits to the teleports are facing the wrong direction (i went through a teleporter, kept walking forward, and almost fell off the edge of the map because it was pointed that direction)
the multipurpose for the AR needs to be redone (why is it the synthetic grips look like hard metal?)
why does the water look like shiny metal in the night setting?
particles for P. grenade need to be fixed, the electricity particles only show half the time
the 3p model of the SMG is too small when it lies on the ground
the firing sound for the sniper rifle is TOO quiet, and cant be heared over the bolt ejection sound
the ammo indicator for the BRG is screwed up
the firing sound for your SL is fubar
the rocket firing sound for the RL is ripped, and the particles for the rocket are fubar as well
why does the rocket have a slow fire ejecting from it when it fires?
the 3p model is actually the FP model
no lods
snowtorn cove:
the hog has a bad multipurpose, and it glows green
the diffuse map for the flag stand is screwed up, some of it is dark and the rest isnt
the multi is also screwed up
the multipurpose for the BRG is STILL unfinished
no collision geometry for the sniper rifle
the tint on the warthogs windhsield makes it impossible to see anything through it
the shells for the hog chaingun go flying forward
the teleporters launch me off the platform
the BRG lod dissapears at some distance
the shells for most of the weapons fly forwards instead of to the side

the covanent has invisible soldiers, all the more important ones have shielding or crazy health, superior numbers, 2 kinds of turrets, brutes and hunters(tanks in and of themselves), their weapons are very powerful in close range combat, and they are very good at getting up close and now they can also dual wield. so i really dont think that the covies need any long range weapons.

^Exactly. And how can you critisize the HUD when you don't even make them? I've worked on 4 HUDs since I started modding, as well as helped with 2 others. Leet and Polar are awsome with HUDs as well, you don't think we would have fixed a broken ammo meter, if we could have. Also, only like, 1 or 2 of the reticles has MIP maps, and that was fixed imediatly after release, since no one reported it in the public betas. As a a matter afact, any bugs that were reported durring the beta were fixed. So like I said, the 3 things that are bugs you reported are going to be fixed.

Personaly evo models havent made me feel anything, except for that cool rifle reaper man made. You PLAN to make a custom campaign, We also have custom SP maps in development. I'm not going to bash your mod, even though you decided to bash ours. I am interested in your gameplay complaints, as people seem to either A. Have no complaints or B. Do not understand the changes we made, such as grenades.

I didn't personally bash CMT, I merely stated that I disliked some aspects of it which WoL and jcap brought up. I think I already told you the specifics of most of my complaints at some point, so I see no reason in doing so again.

Well... I really like the mushrooming plume of fire that escapes from the nozzle when the rocket launches (a la Halo 3), but how about the spark exhaust that shoots out the back to push it out (a la Halo 2... and almost definitely Halo 3, too)?
Put a marker at the back end of the firing tube and the flamethrower_jet effect could be used, it's a perfect fit.

Suggestion: Try to make the encounters in SP2 different from stock campaign, and more surprising. In SP1, there weren't many significantly different encounters (only Hunters in PoA and new weapons or vehicles in certain areas come to mind).
Bug/Suggestion: The flamethrower feels weird. It doesn't feel as nice as the stock flamethrower for some reason. Maybe make it behave more like the stock flamethrower.

Im not a mapper or a modder, so take what I say at face value. I personally have gotten a great deal of enjoyment out of playing the sp mod, as well as the mp maps. I think Ive played the mod more than I have the sp Halo PC. So props to the CMT for making a mod that is INTERESTING!! I havent found any bugs to report, but if there is something that I see that comes up, Ill give yall a shout. To all who have contributed content to the maps and the mod, thank you all very much. I do appreciate the time and effort.
