is CMT ever going to put spiker granades in their maps or any of the H3 equipment like the buble shield or the portible grav. lift?

if so i would like to sugest making a version of Highground, Snowbound, or Valhalla for halo CE.

i am not trying to ruch the CMT team or file a complant. i am making a sugestion and i know they have had little (if any) time to work on this kinda stuff because the beta just came out only a week ago. ;):rolleyes::rolleyes:

They might, but not for CE. By the time H2V is out, after the relase of SPv2, they will move on to that.

don't do bubble shields and grav lifts!

well CMT is a Custom Map Team they make custom stuff. although they have made some H3 stuff i dont think they r going to convert ALL of H3 to CE. plus i think they had them but cut them out in the SPv2, not sure though. but my answer is no i dont think they will.

Most probably not. We might do something of the lines of a portable graav lift, but we have alot of new idea that we might do with our own version of equipment, that will have more to offer than just a replica of H3 content.

The 2nd version of the campaign that CMT is working on at the moment and which, hopefully, will be released in the next month or two.

CMT's second release of their campaign. The first one was buggy, and laggy, but this is going to be nothing like it. For example, compare this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W4zIYieK3fs) to this.
(the first one being the trailer for their SPv1, and the second being the teaser for SPv2.)

Spike grenades won't be in HCE, they were never perfected and didn't work right with the AI (it was secondary fire for the Spiker Rifle, since it couldn't be added as a third grenade type.) In H2Vista, it will most likely be a "dual-wieldable weapon" that you can use with almost anything else to give you another grenade type. (how CMT will do this without making every other weapon dual-wieldable is a mystery to me)

hmm. i hope that someone puts assualt rifles into H2V. their the coolest weapon out there, and are totally left out of H2. hehehe dual wielding AR's....

Yes, i believe the CMT will be putting AR's into H2V. But there MA5c's, not MA5b's.

Dual wielding only really works for 1-handed weapons :p

acually, most of the tags were cut out of h2v, gurilla no longer opens weapon tags, vehicle tags and character tags... so i hear

pretty sure either prom will fix it, or some haxor will come a long (like what kornman did with gureilla and sapien)

The tags are mostly there, just the retail h2ek is locked. Alot of tags are in the h2ek, such as things as elite AI. Other tags such as parts of the HUD are missing, like pickup icons, and animation refences to FP dervish referances. The maps still compile, and the missing tags are drawn from the shared.map.

Ignoring the two above posts, since Halo 2 Vista has only been out for two days, it's quite possible that Bungie/Hired Gun is working on an easy way to edit/create your own weapons/vehicles. Wouldn't it be possible to create your own weapons in HEK (Halo 1, not 2) and then import them into Halo 2 Vista and make the few necessary tweaks to get rid of exception errors? (probably not, it seems too easy. I'm sure Bungie thought of this.)

Well, There ARE a version of spike grenades made on halo maps. But its not what most people would think, its called a needler grenade, and its just a bunch of needler rounds in a ball, that upon explosion shoot everywere.

On the topic of the deployables in CE, they are quite possible and very fun.

one guy has rigged a porta grav lift to be picked up and deployed with the flashlight, and is waiting for KIrby to finish his Trip mine, and refined bubble shield (he made the first one) so he can set them up in the same way as well.

and also I heard the Concars already has Valhala close to ready to put into H2V and a few other people from the CE comunity are already working on the H3 Map's BSPs

Sorry I swear I heard Kirby say that you talked to him, but ok It'd be really cool to see these in MP CMT maps
