Recently, alot of people have been asking for dates, whether they be release, new video, new pictures, or general updates on something. I'm taking this thread to make it a point that CMT does not set dates for anything. We release things like updates, videos, pictures, and ultimately the mod when we feel they are ready. Asking for things will not make them happen faster. It just pisses us off. The same goes for beta-testing. We choose ourselves who gets to beta our maps. There are no exceptions to these rules.

I was hoping for a May release, but when you guys said that Spv2 was postponed, I knew that it was probably going to be postponed for more than 1 or 2 months. I know that it will be released when ready and we will get updates when there's something interesting to show. Don't worry about keeping us, the public, waiting and take your time to make something really fun and well made.

What are you talking about? HaloGen was cancelled because they were hit upside the head with a C&D.

Rushing has never worked well for CMT. Down from release 1 in 2005, timetables haven't been very good for us. I also doubt it would have been good for HaloGen... though whether no product is better or worse than an unfinished one is up to opinion. Regardless, I don't think we'll be getting a C&D.

Ya know, I was thinking of making a post like this, however, because Im not cmt, it would have gotten flamed by all the noobs who dont use their brains, and read the posts for themselves. Plus, since Im not cmt, I figured that it would be better anyhow if someone from cmt (as well as someone with some mod power) made the post. This thread is win (except for the spam):highfive:
