I'm wondering if there is any way to salvage these planes and make them boxes?

Holy piss that's a lot of open edges.

But uh, back to salvaging planes... from my knowledge I don't think theres a way to salvage them, so I guess you'd have to remake the structure again. Unless there's a way to like, copy-paste plane as shape or whatever. Something uber-crazy like that.

The difference between "using planes" and "learning how to plane model" are two different things, jngrow.

Plane modeling is probably one of the most beneficiary modeling styles I know of.
