Or, if you don't want to wait a day or more, you can go buy it at Walmart, Best Buy, Comp USA, or any where else that sells computers and soft were.

Another good cheap computer retailer that I know of is Tiger Direct. Luckily for me, i'm in the town right next to their main north american distribution warehouse. with an attached outlet store.

Wait, is CMT still doing the SPv2 for Halo CE, or is this their way of saying "sorry guys, it's only gonna be for H2Vista now."? (Today was also the release day for Windows Vista, but if CMT needs a few more days we can understand that. You can't rush good material, and this campaign is definately going to be kickass when it's released.)

SP V2 will be out for CE, not H2V, even if H2V is out before we are done with it.

So is there really any difference between the OEM version and the regular retail version (other than packaging and that sort of stuff). And is there anything important that the OEM version might not have?

If nothing important is missing, I should have enough money left over to get more RAM. :)

maybe, I'm going to get it in a few weeks, maybe 2, but first, I need to pay my dad off for buying some parts for my Vehicle. (Long Story, not telling, not here any ways)

just don't take 3 or 4 months on it, now that you got the weapon and Vehicle tags fixed up, maybe, you can worry about everything else.

but from what i know, H2V doesn't suport scripting and custom levels >.>

nooBBooze
January 30th, 2007, 07:34 AM
Im pretty sure it doesnt supprort scripting. as for custim levels...well i hope they are possible cause otherwise there will be hundereds of halfassed coag mods.

January 30th, 2007, 08:16 AM
I think you us mean custom SP maps, because H2V dose suport custom maps.

AAA
January 30th, 2007, 09:16 AM
Yeah, but that stilllll doesn't change the fact that there WILL be a million different coagulation...........*sigh* I hate it when people do that.

Just hope it doesn't happen.

So, this H2V thing is going to be great!! ^^ I just need to buy a new computer.....not that bad......all I need it $10,000 more and I'm set..............W00t! sarcasm

Yeah, and I'm sure that there'll be a bunch of Blood Gulch "varients" that will be ported into H2V as well. *shudders at the thought*

There is no need to rush CMT. They can take their time to make everything look good. If they rushed, everything might look like what Coag CE looks like right now. (no offense)

I'm so gonna get Ultimate for sure!

O sweet So I can still play the kick-ass singleplayer!

Edward Elrich
January 30th, 2007, 08:22 PM
Yay! That makes me feel very happy, knowing that it's still being made for halo ce. And so this post is not completely unconstructive, h2vista will almost assuradly support scripting, since there IS supposed to be a map editor, and if that doesn't work the way we all think it will, another version of Sapien will probably be released at some point.

Those are OEM versions which are limited to one single use. No re-activating. No hardware upgrade.

Timo
January 30th, 2007, 08:27 PM
Uh, you can call up and get a re-activation code if you've upgraded your system.

Uh, you can call up and get a re-activation code if you've upgraded your system. No, you can't. Not with OEM. It's not allowed anymore with major hardware upgrades.

Read this before you buy Vista OEM versions:

It's explained everything from what are OEMs to differences between the OEMs and normal retail editions.

when you install a new OS on your computer, it should be very easy, but the disc in, do what the install soft ware tells you to do, and sit back and watch it go to work. and when it is done, all of the files, settings, and soft ware should transfer by them selves. if you install a OS by wiping the hard drive, then you have to take some time and back up every thing onto a disc, and duble check to see if you have everything you want, then when you're done backing up files, you wipe the hard drive. and then you wait, and when it is down wiping the hard drive, you Install the OS and all of the soft ware you want, and put the files back onto your computer.

Major as in motherboard. You change your motherboard, you have to buy a new copy.
