Halo CMT SP-V2 Help

Where do you get Halo CMT SP-V2 Beta?:confused:
I heard it was somewhere in this forum.

I'm a newbie at this forum but i've been modding Halo for a long time but not as advanced as making maps because whenever i try the maps an annoying "Gathering Exception Data" message pops up. I never got around to fix it.

2 questions. Gathering Exception data fix? And Wheres the link to Halo CMT SP-V2 Beta?

The thread here is locked, there's one at halomaps though.

SPv2 has not been released yet, nor is there a public beta to my knowledge.

As for the "Gathering Exception Data" fix, if you're using Yayap_the_Grunt's mapping tutorial, he tells you to set up grenades with your starting equipment (Assault Rifle and Pistol or whatnot). Don't do that.

Beta is private. CMT only gives it out to the people they want to have the beta.

PS: Don't try asking for it, they rarely (I think only one guy got it for asking, and he was already probably going to get it anyways) give it out to people who just ask for it.

Wow, following that link lead me to some hilarious internet drama.

There is not an SP2 "beta." We give test maps to certain people only when we want to. I don't know where you got the idea that there was one, but your source is either joking or misinformed.

As for the exception, you really need to be more specific as to what you're doing. That's such a general error; almost anything can cause it. If you did everything correctly (see HEK tutorial for what that means) regarding setting up the map, you won't get one unless you were messing with things you shouldn't have been.
