Lets start it off:
With ASSMod how do you restrict certain Tools from being used by non-admins?
Having a dedicated server, is there a way to restrict downloads for a map? If so how?

So I just got Garry's Mod... Can I get some recommendations of the basic packs of addons, models, maps, etc. that can be found in just about every server?

Uh sorry for bump but its not worth a new thread...
I bought Gmod when it came out, like 3 years ago. I know you need certain games, but do you need them installed? Or can I just install Garrys Mod and it will do the rest for me?
Reason being I dont have any of my steam game boxes with me, so I obviously dont want to download all the games.
Need them installed so it can access the model files and stuff.
Gaaaaaah >_< I heard it preloads some of them. Its just my net is so slow this month.
It preloads all of the HL2 models
