Ha ha... I followed a tutorial once... just built a box room with some lights. Nothing too grand. I just think that it restricts the freadom of making a level too much. Needless to say... I didn't care much for Hammer.

Believe me, I don't either. However tf2, and l4d are just such incredibly fun games I'm going to go and learn their level editor :x

I think it is a good start for a first map, though you might want to add more of

Look's great, just needs some normal mapping to bring those clocks to life and we're beta ready.
