Oh, this is meant to be for a burnt-out Sherman, by the way, so I mean a real good-and-proper fire. If any of you have seen that video of the Panther getting rolled by a Pershing in Cologne, that's what I'm after.
take real fire, and plaint over/copy it?
How often do you see the kind of fire I need though?
I need to be able to make it from scratch, so I can draw it coming out of hatches, vents, shell holes, etc.

I can't remember exactly how I did it since I haven't worked with my fire since then.
Remember Ross, you can always use the liquify filter to bend stock photo flames to your needs.
Yeah but stock flames are easy to tell because they never quite blend properly
