Any halo 3 for pc mods ?

Like i mean for example converted halo 3 campaign maps that work for halo 2 or 1 or custom edition.
You see i really love halo 3 but i cant get an xbox soon so i really wana play this game deadly.
I mean seriously halo has a huge modding community cant they convert halo 3 campaign missions so that they can work with halo 2 ?
I got a pretty powerful pc so im sure it will work.

You could always get a cheap Xbox 360 off Ebay and play Halo 3 how it was meant to be played.

Well im not living in countries where ebay works i cant buy a cheap xbox.

There are so many things in Halo 3 that wouldn't work well if attempted in Halo 2, such as Equipment and real-time Flood infection. Oh, and did I mention that there would probably be copyright issues of porting over every voice and level?

Don't sell your "pretty powerful PC" for a shitty console. Instead of playing Halo 3, which was only really worth playing the SP for to continue the MC experience, play better games on PC like Battlefield 3.

Well i would buy Battle field 3 if its online anyway.
But im just a extremely big fan of halo...
And about that guy that said it would be ilegal ...
Well maybe microsoft made ?
Or u mean there are thousands of mods maybe someone got it licensed or something like that.
However it dosent matter to me if its licsensed or not. most of my games are copies.

@op There's a million of halo 3 styled maps and weapons. CMT and a bunch of other teams a while ago released a lot of h3 styled maps. None of them are "true" halo 3 maps, but you can find some close ones.

there's also a lot of halo 3 tagpacks, so you can take a mod like FTW2, which has high-res skins, then import halo 3 weapons and vehicles into it, and make your own nice-looking halo 3 map.

Apparently I do.
I've been able to get them for as cheap as $20 in the past.
And working for that matter with no need for any kind of tinkering.
