Using Max's IK bones for swivel joints
Does anyone here have much experience with setting up IK's for swivel joints?
I'm trying to set a rig up which uses swivel joints, I've got some settings set up for one swivel joint for for some reason max won't apply the constraints to the joint.
I've used HI Solvers for several joints but this one seems to not be sticking to the settings I'm trying to apply.

Does Max have an equivalent to Maya's driven keys? If so, I could imagine that being applied.

I'm not entirely sure, I've never been fluent with Maya and this is my first attempt of trying to do a full rig, in the past I've made nodes such as the kind for the sentinels in Halo CE but nothing like this.
