Halo 2 Vista using Xbox 1 Controller (Yes, the original Xbox controller)

You need:
Xbox > USB cable (any type, can buy em off Ebay or make your own if you know what you're doing)

I happened to make a USB adapter for it years ago, so I could dust it off and try it out. :D

I don't see how you would plug your controller into a USB cable... I watched the video (stopped with about a minute left but skimmed through the rest) and it never showed how to get it plugged in. Maybe post how to do it? That would be appreciated (some +rep mbmb?).

Xbox controllers are USB.

It's pretty much cutting an xbox cord, a USB cord, and matching colors.

Cut up the controller cable and a USB cable... or the way I did it, just cut up the little break-off end. Works with lots of controllers instead of wrecking one.

Hey is the xbox 1 controller have sensitivity in movement, (e.g you can walk slow -> run) In Halo PC when I used the xbox controller even the slightest movement made you go into a full run

Do you get autoaim?

No, and no.

First one is possible in campaign, though.

In halo 2 vista, yes with the xbox controler you can go from slow walk to run and yes Halo 2 Vista picks the controler up as a 'Xbox 360' Controler and enables Auto aim on it.

so basically, plug in a controller, and you get instant autoaim?

yeey way to balance a freaking game.
