Why can't I run Halo 2 Vista well on my computer

I can't understand why, my specs:

Windows Vista Home Premium
Intel(R) Pentium(R) D CPU 2.80GHZ
1.00GB RAM
NVIDIA GEForce 7500 LE

Yet I am forced to play it on the lowest resolution and on low detail to actually get a really smooth picture, unlike most who can play it on 1024x768. Any advice. I've heard people saying the 7500 LE isn't a gaming card. Could that be the problem?

your CPU sucks. Its not at least a Pentium 4 or AMD Athlon. Upgrade your motherboard...ur graphics card is decent. Does your computer lag out when you are playing H2V online and campaign?

If played on higher resolution then yes to online mode. Campaign mode lags at lot aswell. This shocks me, the people at PC World adviced me to get this computer for gaming.:mad:

just make sure u have at least a Pentium 4 at 2 GHz.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure Pentium D is better.
The video card sucks too, and 1gb of RAM isn't the best thing to have in Vista... try getting another 512mb or 1gb or ram, and it should help out with load times and stuff.

Anyone? I feel as if I've been ripped off right now. My dad is taking it back into to PC World tomorrow to see about the problem.

I'd get a computer with at least 2 GBs of ram. When I'm running it my ram goes from 40-60% with 2gbs.
