Are there ANY known fixes?

My question is are there any known fixes for the various bugs? Setting changes, etc.? My current issues are unable to do anything multiplayer related, and unable to start playing at all, as I get the "Stopped working unexpectedly" error. The weird thing is, the first day I installed this game, everything worked flawlessly. Next day, I can get it to work for 5 minutes tops, only campaign, and I have the checkpoint glitch. Now it is totally dead.

AMD Athlon 64 X2 Processor 4200+
nvidia Geforce 7950 GT 512MB
2GB RAM
Windows Vista (duh)

Do you have all the latest drivers for your hardware?

I know a fix! it's called playing halo 2 on the xbox!

Also, try reinstalling the game. Check to see if other games work.

every other game works. ive checked drivers 5 times, ill check 5 more times. Yes, I've reinstalled about 3 times. Tried play n tray, tried custom, no good.
Please, anyone, I REALLY wanna play, I'm going CRAZY over this!! There's gotta be some fixes out there!

they need a patch extremely BADLY for this game. Only the patch would have the fixes that we need.

When the game crashes like that, just make sure to send the error report. That gives us the ability to investigate the issue and try to find the root cause.
