When I rigged my FP hands the flyinrooster way I never found the answer to what went wrong. My elbow joint moves in the opposite direction. Can someone please help?

"Opposite" referring to what? If you mean what I think you do, you just apply a tiny bit for rotation to the forearm bone in the direction you want to bend in, then give it the IK.
