How can I make my bumpmaps more noticable, I tried changing the bump height in the bitmap file, and then re saving that and adding it to my shader. And there is nothing in the help file about this.

Dynamic lights, or light fixtures.
Make sure you made a proper specular map, you placed it in the alpha channel of the diffuse bitmap, and you set the Specular to "Default."
make sure you recompile the image after you change the height and save it.
How do you recompile an image?
go to compile bitmap in the halo 2 map editor.

I suppose so but it's like really dark at the moment so I gotta work out how to fix that.
Higher radiosity setting perhaps?
Ok it seems to have fixed itself.
