3d3x9_26.dll error

i know what the problem is with my max when i start it, i get the 3d3x9_26.dll error. i kno i have to download a patch or something, kuz i corected this problem before. the only problem i have is that i honestly forget where i can get it at. can someone plz link me to this? thanx ahead of time!

I think you might just need the dll file.

thats what i need, but like last time i just ran a plugin installer or somethin and it fixed it. newayz thanx bro!

You might also try a different graphics mode, you can do that via start->programs->discreet.
