Well i was wandering, I now its not legal and all but i have a legit copy of halo 2 vista and im tired of vista cause it lags my computer and shit. well anyway I got halo 2 to install on xp and can sign my name in on live its signed on right now. But when I try and join it says cant join at the moment please try again later. Well I just didn't now if there was any xp users with the same problem. Cause I would much rather play on xp than vista.
Well, since it's not legal and all, I don't think we can help you unless it's on Vista.
Also, you can't join games on LIVE with XP, so don't bother trying again =/.
Wow...you've been here for a long time and yet you don't know that H2V can't go into LIVE (and therefore can't have multiplayer) on Windows XP? jeez.
And if vista "lags your computer and shit," your machine probably needs an upgrade (2 GB of RAM recommended). My machine has yet to lag in Vista...the only problems I've had with Vista are because of bugs/security holes that the first service pack should fix.
i can log on my name on xp and i now halo 2 is for vista but im trying to fix it for xp users so they can enjoy xp. And for all those who cant update to vista. I am so close to getting it to work on xp. I can sign into live im going to make a video to so my progress. I now its illegal i just wandered if anyone had any tips on what to do.

It's always been like that, you can sign into LIVE but you can't join any games.
Do u now why u cant join any games????
The Live service doesn't work properly on XP and there is no solution because of its integration with Vista.
