changing the veichles colors

Do you guys think its possible to change the veichles colors with guerilla? Ive been cuirious with this because with firescythe's bitmap extcator, I was able to extract bitmaps, edit them, then compile the bitmap, make a shader for it, then place it in the veichles bitmap folder. But im not sure if it worked because ive been busy lately.

well im not totally sure about H2v but on H2x you needed to modify the shared.map's warthog standard bitmap to change the color.

I modified the warthogs bitmap. Then I placed it on sapien. It still looked the same.
