\/\/\/ @ dano, idk about the weapons, I prefer modeling from perspective reference images, usualy just side views isn't enough for me, which is why any (one) weapon I've ever tried (once) to concept then model my self has failed miserably because I can't draw guns perspectively too well. They are nice though :)

Those drawings look like they'd be good to model from.

I can't say i like the pixel art? but that drawing was good.

I can appreciate pixel art, surely. I understand how hard it is to do, and they look nice. :) Also, that's a very nice sketch.
