SRS-99C AMC Sniper Rifle

Masters, please explain to me how a silencer would possibly cut the barrel from this length to this length.

I was lazy when putting on the silencer. Rest assured, it's now located in the proper position.

Calm down now, it was a perfectly reasonable question.

Well, certain kinds of suppressors actually kinda "rap" around the barrel, which would make it appear shorter.
