Also, the tail fins don't make much sense being damaged, unless the idea was that it was already severely damaged. Silly Snake, those arn't embers, they're flares! Basically the whole right side from the wing back is obliterated. Oh and the tail fins were obliterated a couple of seconds before (I originally was going to do something else with the drawing, but I left the fins that way. >_>). :p
Oh, and it's a variable geometry fighter, which wings fold back to form a delta with the stabilizers; It's my take on a MiG-1.44.
