Uh..... no. There are people who actaully enjoy those events for the actual sport, just like how most of us would be put to sleep by figure skating yet some are enthralled in it.

I saw a picture of Mirror's Edge that character named "Miller"

and the actor, Hugo Weaving (Agent Smith from Matrix Trilogy) was dressed up as him.
