How does one regenerate a world without destroying it outright?

Also, I understand building a rail system in the Nether because of the world scaling thing. Y'all can do that if you want and I'd donate materials if I have any to people doing that. But I, personally, will be building it on the overworld purely out of preference.

In a similar vein, I had gathered a ton of rails, gold, iron, redstone, lapis, and even a goddamned diamond from a mineshaft the other day. GUESS WHAT HAPPENED TO IT ALL?!

Oh, I'll also be re-enabling mcMMO and seeing if anything breaks in the coming days.

Also, building a rail system in the overworld would cost 8x more resources than it would in the nether. Though I suppose for short trips, overworld rail is more practical. Can minecarts go through Nether portals?

Server just crash?

I've updated the server and plugins to the latest 1.4.7 Bukkit recommended build.

Before the update, Bukkit itself was having issues with Nether portals - it would just convert coordinates and then drop you into the other world instead of checking for and creating portals if needed. I think it's working now, but I'm not entirely sure. Just be sure to test new portals by entering them with empty inventories before actually using them, and expect to be dropped from up high, usually into a lava pool. If it doesn't do that for you, lemme know here.

Also I've been playing on another server and there's some ideas I want to steal from them and use, but I'm not even sure if it's worth it since that server's built for 100 people and we can only do 10. :x

Server needs a serious update :( I miss playing with my awesome house. Could anyone upload the map file?

Yeah but I want the old world that was linked to the new one, found a sweet ass cave below my house that was made in the village by spawn.

The old world iss still active.
