It's actually a very simple shader...

2 of these with different scrolling speeds and tiling multiplied together in a shader_transparent_chicago with its framebuffer blend function set to "add". The bitmap itself was made by rendering solid noise, applying motion blur, and then overlaying a gradient.
Something still seems off to me about the lights... can you put lens flairs on them or something. I don't know, they don't really give off that light look to me, more like they're shooting blue and red beams out in a circular fashion.
Like a curtain.

Glad you can see it that way, I've played Halo so much, and for such a long time, that I'd recognize the engine no matter what was running on it :\Quote:
