Re: The Studio Quick-Crit Thread
There's already one, go type in future weapons military shotgun. Basically it looks like a Tommy gun had an orgy with a shotgun, making it pretty much what you said. Oddly enough though, when you said that, the picture of a gun blade went into my head..and I haven't played final fantasy in 3 years.
Re: The Studio Quick-Crit Thread

Not my model but its the first weapon skin I've ever made and the 6th skin total in my photoshop career.
Re: The Studio Quick-Crit Thread
Try painting in details and not dodge tooling for shine. I know its a pain in the arse but it can come out much better:

Model by Donut
Unwrap by Icee (iron clad for non xfire users)
Skin by me
We are aware of some stretching, and Im probbaly going to go back and refine on the grunge whoring and get rid of some of it.
Also forgot to make base metal 100% so yes you can sort of see unwrap lines.
Re: The Studio Quick-Crit Thread
Cool....looks good.Really.But then people are gonna come behind me and pick details that I have no clue about.
Re: The Studio Quick-Crit Thread
Your skin is worthy of CS1.6 Disaster, haha. It's getting better.
