Halo: Anniversary - The Halo 1 remake (fuck anyone who calls it "halo ce" remake)

This is either a sign of things to come in H4, or is proof that Saber was pretty much the only ones actually doing the upgrade, both in tech and assets. I seem to recall 343i only ever talking about a "publishing team" within 343i when it comes to HA10, and it's obvious the rest of the studio is busy doing something or another relating to H4. Be it taking a dump or flushing a dump.

The facial animations are horrendous, but they would be amazing for making memes out of.

Also, Keyes looks like a fucking retard.

For the most part, it looks great. Facial animations are terrible, and the re-use of old models is just... I think the word we use is "Fail"?

I think I also spotted a couple of mo-cap derps. Wonder if they'll use them for the classic mode as well :ohdear:

Keyes looks too young, Cortana should be more like the way she used to be.

I'm positive it was an older build though. Cortana doesn't look right in terms of her mouth and there are easily noticeable shader issues (Sarge's armor for instance). I hope I'm right simply because it's fugly in its current state. Also, CAN SOMEONE PLEASE REPLACE IMPOSTER KEYES WITH THE REAL ONE FROM REACH? THANKS!

There's a difference between nerds and perfectionists, but then you wouldn't know that would you?

there's a difference between nerd, and having poured TEN YEARS of your LIFE into playing/working with a game.
when someone does a tribute like this, to something you've put this much dedication into, there's some things you can and CANT get away with.

what you CAN'T get away with is plain straight up half-assed work like they're displaying here.
the -least- we should be able to expect is non-botched-up mo-cap animations for example, or characters we've become familiar with NOT get murdered into a failed caricature.
