Lodex does some of the finest work in the community, is among the few to have attracted Bungies attention. You should be grateful that his work ethic has helped get this community attention and created kick ass maps.
I agree a lot of this looks like shit, complaining about it isn't going to make a difference though. If your that upset about the game, do what I'm doing and don't buy it and let 343i know why. That's what I'm doing, although I eventually will get it used where 343i/MS won't make a cent off of me.

Yes, we are all nerds/geeks here. If you're not, then why the hell are you on this site?

Be it taking a dump or flushing a dump.
If a turd falls in a toilet, and no one's around, does it still make a splash?
I think the only thing 343i had to do with this game was the gameplay aspect as well as skulls, Terminals and all the little new things like that. Even then, it was a very small team at 343i that was working on that. Graphics and animations was all Saber, which does include Tech and Assets, as you can see in the Behind the Scenes video.

Looks more to me like you don't see the actual difference. ENDLESS complaints about unbelievably minor things that are so subjective in nature that they can never be up to everyone's "high" standards. This is outright nerdy. Although I don't expect the actual nerds to be able to grasp this concept from an outside perspective.

I am very much aware of who Lodex is.
How ever his past does not give him free reign to insult the community he has been involved with for so many years and I certainly will not be grateful for his ethic of insulting said community out of some sort of pride.
May I suggest the next time you try to "inform" me, you actually consider the context of my post rather than simply assuming that I do not know the members of this community?

I'm well aware of the difference, the Halo community is well known to be filled with purists, if that is considered by yourself nerdy then so be it.
Are you really going to attempt to say that This is by any ones definition of being "high" quality?
There's an old saying, if something is worth doing, it's worth doing properly and to the best quality you are capable off.
And that is practically all I have to say on the matter, accept it or don't doesn't bother me in the slightest.
Re: Halo: Anniversary - The Halo 1 remake (fuck anyone who calls it "halo ce" remake)
I hope this is an older build and they put more work into Keyes. The facial animations look like a first pass and are the biggest problem. But like I said earlier, the face doesn't match the voice. Pete Stacker has a very nasally smoker's drone. There's no way Keyes should look that spry and healthy for his age. A buzz cut on a man in his 50's should reflect thinning hair and a slightly retreating hairline. Thin out his lips, rough up his jawline, simultaneously add puffiness and sunkenness to the area around his eyes and cheeks. A slight turkey neck wouldn't hurt.

I mean, shit, how is Sarge supposed to offer ladies mustache rides when his primary sexual characteristic is washed out by stupid dynamic light sources?
Seriously, you can find ug-faces in almost every game on almost every character, even ones that you think look good and consistent 99% of the time. There's always some combination of lights, LOD, and animation that will destroy the illusion. They usually do a better job of hiding it in frigging cutscenes, though...

Sergeant Johson is a fantastic character, I'll never forget his face when he said "for a brick, he flew pretty good". I just don't get so worked up about it nor feel the need to complain about so much things. By "raging" so much on one aspect people seem to forget the grand scheme of things and make this game almost sound like a terrible piece of software.

But you feel the need to publicly complain about people complaining? That makes sense.

The nitpicking tangents that evolve from initial reactions around here is hilarious, but that statement isn't entirely true. 343i stated in their recent ViDoc that they went through an extensive redesign process to nail the Chief's modernized appearance after practically every Halo player out there looked at him in the first trailer and said "ew."

I don't see how it doesn't make sense to point out that which is completely ridiculous complaining. If one would use his brain and think about it, one would realise that I am simply pointing out that I do not agree with the degree and amount of crit this game is receiving. But in reality I'm assuming most of you are butthurt for me pointing out the obvious fact that only nerds would complain this much about a few video game assets.
I'll leave it at that.
