Re: So did anyone listen to the bungie podcast today?
Well, in the podcast, it seems like the rest of the podcasters don't know whats going on with the key thing, unless they were acting dumb just as excuse to be able to plug it more. (As in saying "wait lemmie get this straight, get your key ready??")
Looking at what roger does, he does the Halo PC thing, which could be good, however due to the fact its litterally just him, I doubt theres any fantastic updates for Halo PC, although I really wish ther was.
He however is also working on H3 stats, and is introducting the new Render film thing Bungie just released. That will have used more of his development/production time...
Therefore I believe, we will be able to use our Halo PC keys, submit them into a page on Bungie.net and it will give us free minutes for the rendering service.
Makes more logical (and business) sense to have the benefit in an up to date game they are actually going to make money from by offering you free stuff (You like the service so much, you end up buying more time) than doing something to support the old true Halo fans.
I hope I'm wrong. +Rep if you agree????
Re: So did anyone listen to the bungie podcast today?
Lets stay on the actual possibilities. He said this would be a new feature. Kay?
From my understanding, with what hes givin' us already, It's probably a patch with some new update(s). I don't know if I like the sound of that, though. All that incompatibility coming back...

The new feature? How about adding the new feature Convert Halo PC key for Pro Video minutes! to Bungie.net?
I hope if theres a patch, its one big superdooper patch that fixes lag and lots of other things, for the same reason as you, theres going to be a big inconvenience if theres an update, so it better be a good one.

You haven't lived until you've flown a Draco on an original Xbox. The controls are so smooth...

Do people still use that shit? I'm sorry, I don't play Halo 3. I think the multiplayer aspect is horribly overrated.
I also think your suggestion as to what the key might lead to is the worst out of all of them. Sorry for your loss.
My thoughts? I think it's either a patch or a conversion of some sorts. I think if he is addressing us as PC users, it's going to be something to do with PC, such as software or an overhaul. Something you would need to "hold on to a key" for.
Re: So did anyone listen to the bungie podcast today?
Pretty much what seraphim said. Halo 3 is probably the dullest game I had before selling my 360.
An overhaul would be interesting, but it would require more than the one person that looks back at the game. Something like open source, however, probably isn't quite as difficult if it were archived somewhere.
