it uses very little resources, it mostly depends on the video or dream your using... some use a bit more depending on the way they were encoded, but for the most part its great.
there is also a hacked version of vista's dreamscene that works on win7, but its buggy.

yes, i know my desktop is still cluttered, but it's been cluttered since 95, and i don't see that changing any time soon...

The videos laggy and I am going to recapture it. Is there a way to increase the frame rate Camtasia records?

That's neat, but I'd find the constant motion distracting. Maybe if it were like a slow aura change between colours, but still that takes up resources.
