Was always curious what Tool could do for lightmaps...
But baking them can do some pretty sweet shit too.
You still need to run it in tool or sapien before you can do custom lightmaps.
Well at least finally this map can be released.

This old legendary french guy released a tutorial on making lightmaps in Max I think.

TBH going to 0.000000 0.000000 0.000000 on quality 1 will take about a week. It seems to get slower as you get closer to 0. Also higher poly map and larger map take even longer. For example... Dismal and harbringer have nearly the same poly count but dismal is much larger. Dismal takes 10x longer to lightmap.
I'm only going to 0.000100 at quality 1, since Sel said the difference would be pretty impossible to see.
