Halo: Anniversary - The Halo 1 remake (fuck anyone who calls it "halo ce" remake)

Dunno about the realism bit, but definitely a downer tone :P Especially considering we haven't seen the final product yet.

I doubt the final product will change in the 2 ~ 3 weeks to the release, but i'm hopeful.

Sorry nut, but it went gold back on Oct 15th. Meaning the final build was sent to publishing. Meaning no more changes. All the previews you see now are final.

If nothing else, atleast play the game before you continue berating it. Is it that much to ask?

I'm not berating the game. I'm berating the "10 year enhancements" and the sub-par work done with them. Halo1 was a great game.

It's a good thing Saber Interactive isn't owned by MS. They would probably be dissolved by now just like their Hired Gun and Ensemble Studios brothers. No matter what internal studio you are, if your name ain't 343i, your ass is grass. Sometimes before the game even ships! Actually, 343i hasn't actually shipped a game made by themselves, so their exception is yet to be seen.

e: If I wanted to play a great game with visuals like that of beer goggles...I would wear beer goggles. Or drink booze.

The game is $40 because they were able to outsource to the Russians for half the price! American jobs? Not on MS's watch

Sub-par my ass. The graphical enhancements that have been shown so far are on par with that of the newest halo games, and with other newer titles. This game still is Halo 1, and until any of us actually play it, I think you should reserve your judgement oh high and mighty overlord of modacity.

Its funny trying to see you argue with someone who has far more credibility than you grant him.

Its funny to see people making massive issues out of tiny, and insignificant details, and using that to label a game as bad before it has even been released.

We like Halo 1.
This is a graphical update.
We don't like the way the graphical update looks.
We complain about it.
It'll look like this when it ships.
What's hard to understand?

I don't think I ONCE said it made the game bad. Me and others berating what we were complaining about is more or so a complaint at what we see as a bad decision. Which can lead to a stale game experience. Also tiny details are NEVER insignificant, any single person here will tell you that.
