I thought I was watching the new CoD game when they were showing off Medal of Honor at E3 :\

I think modern combat games are quickly catching up to the dogma of WW2 games.

There's too damn many of them....or there will be soon enough.

There already is more of the Modern Shooters than there is the WW2 based... =/

Then there you go.

The guys trying to profit over them, however, haven't got the message.

I thought I was watching BF:BC2. Of course, they use the same engine, but they could have differentiated them a bit more. According to a dev, they reused a ton of BC2 assets.
