There is some thing as help, some people refer to it as hold-my-hand-modeling but I just call it help.

lol, I have the exact opposite problem, my modelling skill doesn't match my ability to visualize and stuff, although it gets closer every day.

I have the same problem as Massacre, I can visualize what I want, but when I try to make it, it's a big box with little dents in it here and there.
Still trying to get the hang of Plane Modeling.
