Yes, especially the most accurate representation of it found in H2_Zanzibar. If Bungie had put it in, I'm sure it would have been just like they made it. The way it works almost makes you forget it's using the shotgun animations.

note that the gauge displays both charge and heat
Very nice.
Damn it. I remember seeing bungie's concept for the Covie Sniper pre halo 1.
Its base looked like the gravity rifle, so thats what they planned for it apparently.
No, it never faded to red liek that.
Dude, I find myself loving everything you do but you post tiny updates.
I do rather tiny frequent updates rather than big rare updates.
Nice work on the gauge. I never really thought someone would actually put effort into a detail like that. Always love seeing your work. <3
Looking at the gauge makes me happy face. I am thinking it also has something to do with animations? That is, if the animation is different.
In Halo 1, the gauge doesn't turn full red when it's charged(it's still a rainbow, so to speak), and it just instantaneously goes down as soon as you fire it.
Also, why does the green lighting from the charge still remain for a few seconds after you fire it? Yes, I'm looking at the Halo 3 flag.
