Don't play hardcore it's terrible

Hardcore really is terrible. Full of hillhumping snipers and COD flunkies trying to get the same experience.

I don't play it anymore. Not since they messed it up in the June update. Was that ever fixed?

Only map I snipe on is Heavy Metal because, let's face it, that map is fucking huge. As for the rest, I don't have a problem. Sounds like someone doesn't want to work for his kills. If anything, regular mode is the one with the CoD flunkies.

What was that about working for kills? From the guy who plays a mode where a couple rounds downs a guy?

From the guy who camps capture points with helicopters and complains about snipers? Ha! If you are getting sniped that often, then you are either getting base-raped or you aren't thoroughly checking your surroundings before sprinting across the map. If it's about teamplay issues, then chances are if half your team is being snipers, then half of their team is too. I also don't see how the game rule set would influence the masses' fascination with sniping, anyways.

A single headshot kills in any mode and headshots are easy as fuck to get. You also die in a couple of shots in hardcore, meaning if you aren't on the ball about paying attention and if you have shit reflexes, you are fucked. Hardcore is actually legitimately harder to play. Don't try to pull that doublethink shit. I work very hard for my kills. I don't even have, let alone use, any special perks like magnum ammo, body armour, or slugs and you know what? I don't need them, because I can make those aforementioned head-shots consistently.

Keep this shit out of my thread. You want to play hard ball? Back it up in the Pwnage thread/PMs or get the fuck out. Still, I think it's a worthwhile debate, but not here.

So do you need to use the SPECACT weapons to get the "Get 100 kills with SPECACT Kit" awards for each class? Or do you just need to be using the SPECACT kit? If I can just rock an M14 I'll get Recon done much faster than with the M95.

I'm guessing you need to use the weapons as well. Just equip the M16, rape as usual and there you go. Easy achievements.
