The only problem I had with mouse/keyboard is that when you're turning/pulling up you'll eventually run your mouse off the surface it's on. Need a joystick to compensate for that. I have a Saitek joystick that I'll have to try when the game is released.
I tried Ctrl+Mouse since that's how it works in most game that has the function. I got nothing.

Good to know there is support for looking, but actual hat-switch support is spotty outside of real sims, and even in some sims it is implemented terribly (see: IL2: Wings of Prey).
That's all a hat switch is, except the hat is less controllable since it swings in whatever direction to desire to look, but quickly and not precisely. On a joystick the hat switch is just assignments of which direction to look. I plugged in my Saitek Cyborg 3D Gold USB to try it out with the beta, but I forgot to check if it works and the beta ended.

There's so much other shit to take down air vehicles now, though. They don't need to be nerfed.
On top of that, there’s four Back to Karkand maps as well, which we’ve known for a while:
Strike At Karkand
Gulf of Oman
Wake Island
Sharqi Peninsula

Gulf of Oman was always one of my favorite maps. Carrier assaults were awesome.
In addition, is anyone else really pumped to try the campaign? I know I'm going to sit down and finish it in one sitting ASAP. I'll be recording it all with Fraps as well and uploading to YouTube fast.
EDIT: You know what I would love to see a modern game do for the Benelli M4/M1014? Ghost loading. It could function like when you empty a magazine, reload, charge (-1 round from mag), then press reload again to make sure the mag has a full 30 rounds so you get 31 instead of 30. For ghost loading an M1014 it would be: load chamber, load magazine, ghost load a round after pressing reload again.
If you don't know what I'm talking about, ghost loading or "floating" means placing a shotgun shell on the feed plate of a Benelli autoloading shotgun. See this video:

Defiantly keen for the campaign will be sitting down and demolishing that in one shot as well, and very excited for Back to Karkand, just pre-ordered it even though my laptop died and probably wont be back from repairs till after the 25th (Blue Screens on start up and wont do a factory reset).

Whoa that shotgun ghost loading is crazy. Looks too complex for video game reloading, though. I can only see it being loaded that way in uber-realistic PC Tom Clancy games.

Actually, I just tried it on our shotgun and there's no way to do it effectively when you load the chamber first like they do in the game (for obvious reasons).

@Amit: Believe me, you can get some serious precision out of a hat-switch, I can attest to that and so can Ross.
