The Chaos Legions took some Titans during the Heresy, cause if I'm not mistaken, a lot of the Adeptus Mechanicus turned traitor during the Horus Heresy as well.

It's interesting that's for sure. I think it's funny though how like, the disc above the head thing turned out to be an actual action in the movie. Luke never held his saber above his head. I can imaging those crater lacks to form an interesting wetlands area. SOMEONE TERRAFORM MARS NOW DAMNIT.
Man, I would love to see the day where Mars is terraformed...just imagine being able to visit Mars whenever you want and be able to live and breath no problem.
