Re: Halo: Anniversary - The Halo 1 remake (fuck anyone who calls it "halo ce" remake)
Why the fuck can't I install this game to the hard drive? Let me guess: Halo 1 code.
Edit: Okay, now it's showing up on my list of games after playing it once and I'm able to install. Before, I was only seeing Halo Reach Ann. Multiplayer and there wasn't an image for the disc on the dashboard.
Cool, I got a $10 credit from Amazon for the purchase, meaning I got this game for $30. I had no idea that was coming.
On the down side, the female Master chief avatar armor code doesn't work. Oh well, wasn't planning on gender-bending anyway.

I have yet to do co-op with anyone I know.
I was going to buy the game today even though I downloaded it for the sake of halo. But after playing it, I don't think they deserve it just yet. I got a wired xbox 360 controller to play around with instead.
Maybe halo 4...

Aren't we supposed to like
Not support piracy
Re: Halo: Anniversary - The Halo 1 remake (fuck anyone who calls it "halo ce" remake)
They (MS) don't care about the PC platform, then I don't care about the piracy on their console platform.
Also, I installed the game to my HDD, yet I still hear disc drive seeking and reading.
Also, the UI controls are so fucking sensitive
Also, I think the toggle to crouch is glitched...

when you play the game, youre walking on the ground. this leads to the assumption that there is gravity holding you down. we dont know why it works, maybe black magic or something, idk. the point is. if youre walking flat on the ground on the inside of the ring, the assumption is made that if the ring were completely flat (as in, no terrain, just a smooth ring), you could walk forward indefinitely and gravity would hold you down the whole time.
with that in mind, you cant look up and see the ring at an angle if youre standing straight up. im not saying it has to make absolute scientific sense from what we know from the real world. im just saying theres a lack of continuity in the game itself with a sideways ring. like warsaw said, its just a minor detail that makes you go "hmmm".
E: and before anybody starts the whole "lol arguing over small details thing", its just an observation.

Stop do not trole.

Re: Halo: Anniversary - The Halo 1 remake (fuck anyone who calls it "halo ce" remake)
I still don't know where this observation was made. All of the levels so far have had the normal ring view. No angles or whatever.

I thought piracy was the reason they don't care about pc gaming in the first place.. less revenue
And why gfwl sucks so hard

Yea toggle crouch is bugged. It makes me stand up when I move but crouch when I am standing still.
