Been playing the singleplayer. The main character looks like an alien BUT I DON'T CARE.

Every single time I try to load up a multiplayer match I get to the loading screen, but as soon as it says "Saving" in the top right corner, the word flashs twice and then freezes. When I alt-tab out, I find that the game has crashed. This is every SINGLE time I load up a match. It's happened at least 25 times in a row. This was happening to me last night, but I managed to finally join a game on Freelancer and not crash. I had a blast in that server for almost an hour.

It just boggles me as to why it always crashed when the game is saving. Actually, why is the game saving anything while going INTO a multiplayer match? I haven't tried Singleplayer yet.

Are there no error dumps generated to troubleshoot the problem?

It's one of those "Battlefield has stopped working" messages. It gives me two options: Close and Debug. I don't know how to debug shit and I can't find any error logs for the game.

campaign crashes on the rock and a hard place level for me after the jet part :(

it goes to load but just stays at black screen forever.




-edit- nvm fixed by updating to version 3 of the ati drivers.

Saved a key until I buy Bf3. I don't have enough money to spare atm since I love having a car to pay for (gas, insurance .etc .etc). I will get BF3 eventually in a week or two.

I fixed my problem by redownloading the ENTIRE game. Yeah. Good thing I'm at school. The connection here downloaded it in an hour :D

I'm getting sporadic freezing in-game, though.

so anybody played enough games to see flashlights yet? they were a huge pain in the ass in the beta, and im kind of concerned that they might still be a huge pain in the ass now. any confirmations on this?
