In the books he actually gets most of his nose sliced off in that scene. The series directors have seemingly made the right decision to not spend the time and money on the makeup and facial green-screening that would be required for that effect, as he's still alive as of the latest book.

Spoilers. Oh well, I'm just finishing a Feast for Crows and nothing has been said of him for much of the book so I just assumed he was still alive :P

Pretty meh episode.

Why was the queen about to kill her kid (and only that one)?
How did the defenders not notice half an invasion force was missing?
Why did the lanisters randomly pop up at the end?
Why was sir fagalot with the lanisters?
Why did they just write off Geofry?
What happened to Stanis?
Why does 2face give a fuck about the bleeding ginger and want to take her home?
Where the fuck has little finger been lately?
WHAT HAPPENED TO JOHN SNOW?!?!?!

*1 of the queens kids was taken away to be married off to another family earlier, so it was just him and geofry.
*what do you mean half an invading force was missing......
*they didnt randomly pop up, they left castle black at a forced march to make it to the capital to defend it.
*Do you mean the kid who was running around with geofry? he IS a lanister. the other guy was with the other baratheon, this is the guy who was sleeping with the queen.
*Geofry's alive an in his bedroom.
*stanis was captured
*2 face resents the king for him being a complete dick and is scared of fire. so his head is now forfeit for deserting, and to give them a big fuck you he'll take sansa with him
*little fingers been master baiting (no f'in idea where he is tbh) (also he's scared of the queen because he reveled he knows the kids are bastards)
*john snow is next episodes cliff hanger.


Where you on drugs this episode or havn't you been paying attention.

Also he likes Sansa, not sexually, but in the way some older people enjoy other people's kids. She's sweet, and even though she won't look at him she's respectful of him. So he doesn't want to see her get hurt by the Lannisters.

n00b have you seen the whole show?

Pretty sure he means Loras Tyrell when he says sir fagalot. That is who removed his helm as he entered the throne room near the end of the episode. Have not really been watching every episode, have just read the books, just caught an episode every now and then, so not sure how much you guys are supposed to know yet.

Just a few corrections:

1. Everything Cersei Lannister does, she does for her children. She loves them more than anything else and will do anything to protect them from the world. Since Myrcella got shipped off to Dorne and Joffrey could not return to the Throne room to be called a coward for running to his mother, only Tommen was left to her. The sounds of the battle outside the throne room made her think Stannis was there to kill them all. She wouldn't allow her child to be brutally murdered in the same way that Elia of Dorne (Rhaegar Targaryen's wife) and her children were killed when the Lannisters sacked King's Landing for Robert Baratheon 16 years earlier. She would rather poison him and herself for a reasonably painless death.

2. Salladhor Saan, the mercenary pirate and his ships stayed out of Blackwater Bay to guard the rear against flanking fleets. That's why we didn't see them.

3. Tywin Lannister was previously at Harrenhal, not Castle Black lol. Castle Black is the main fortress for the Knight's Watch. The Tyrells decided that they would help the Lannisters destroy Stannis' forces because they would most likely benefit greatly from it while proving their allegiance to Joffrey. Once the forces were combined they crushed the invaders.

4. Sir Fagalot is Ser Loras Tyrell. He is a fag because he prances around like a hormonal bitch and he was Renly's lover. Remember how I mentioned the Tyrell's switched sides? Well Loras took Renly's armour and wore it while killing Stannis' troops to make it seem like he was Renly's "ghost".

5. Stannis was not captured. He escapes back to his remaining ships and retreats to Dragonstone. This isn't show in the TV show, though.

6. Don't be fooled. Petyr Baelish is afraid of nobody. If he looks afraid it's just a show to make his enemies think he is. The Queen already knows a bunch of people know about her and Jaime. Stannis' openly proclaimed it to the world (sent ravens to every place in Westeros) and then went to war against the Lannisters. Renly did the same.

I'd say that's half of it, but in the books he forced her to kiss him on the lips/mouth before he left. Later on in A Storm of Swords, he says that he should have just fucked Sansa's cunt bloody. I dunno if that was just a threat or something, though. I think it was just a threat.

I think it was more of a threat thing. He doesn't seem the type to want that kind of thing.
