I'd be happy to sign up as a seeder. (Not just for the whole getting it early thing I would've seeded if it were a torrent anyway)
Sure it'll lag my internet but thats what a TV in my room with On Demand is for. :awesome:
Though your gonna need a few seeders to get the torrent going. (That and I only seed for about 10 hours a day)
I'll sign up. It's better if I do it while leaving my desktop on overnight though (I live in the Pacific time zone if you're wondering). If you need me to do it in the daytime, I guess I'll switch to my laptop and let my desktop do the seeding.
Well, as long as it's not manditory (I was getting the idea that it was at first) then I don't care. Just as long as someone still uploads it onto the CMT download servers, or a third party site like filefront, although those sites would take even longer to get them posted...
Mandatory or not, Ill seed. I have Azureas, a simple unclutter torrent agent, no malware, no adware, spyware, just simply an agent to do torrent. Those that may not know about it, just google it. I think youll find it to be acceptable.
In short, count me in. PM me when your ready to go.

lol, i think if everyone signs up to seed then it kind of defeats the purpose. just give it out to the elite (all u upper modders that share shit and work together) and have them seed it, and then eventually itll get huge.
just release a standard torrent and skip the seeding part, itll just start trouble.
I used torrents and never really liked them...i just hope it will still be available at halomaps.org
They will be available on halomaps and here on h2v. But the download speeds will be considerably shorter than that of the torrent.
True, so the point is:
For those of you who don't like the torrent idea, CMT will have "regular downloads" from this site and from halomaps.org
For those of you willing to seed for much faster download speeds, the torrent is an option. By the way, Azureus is my personal recommendation for a client. The biggest download I made was for Starcraft because some idiot lost one of my CDs and I was unable to reinstall the game on my new computer, so I had to download an ISO, and a burned copy of that ISO now resides in the Starcraft packaging since the original disc is gone.
Also note that a torrent is worthless without seeders who have decent connections. Those who are downloading the torrent will also be sharing bits of what they already have with other downloaders to boost the rate a bit. Those who have the full torrent will contribute 100% of what they have if they continue uploading.
